Very often, the Chinese have been said to eat every creature whose back faces the sky. We thought we'll share some delightful photos some members sent us of their culinary journey to Shanghai, Hong Kong and Macau recently.

Apparently, this gives the Chinese tea a more even flavour and cools the tea somewhat for immediate consumption.
We bet this sifu is a master at the urinals too! What do you think?

If you go to Shanghai, one thing you mustn’t miss - Xiao Long Bao. We were told that our friends had an overdose of XLB in Shanghai and swore off this delicacy for three months when they got back to Malaysia. Where can you get this in Malaysia? Any dim sum place - even Esquire Kitchen.

The Chinese will not spare any parts of an animal. But, hey, pig ears? What can you do with those? Sliced them up real thin and sprinkle some dressing on them and voila! Chinese fettuccine - a cold dish fit for an Emperor!

Eel is a delicacy is most part of North Asia. Japanese, for one, appreciates these delicacies a lot. Our friend found a nice eel dish in Shanghai. The eel is sliced medium thin and stir fried with chili oil - masking the fishy smell. Well, we usually give this stuff a miss but this one looks good enough to eat!

Gross!!! Thank God I read it after lunch! I heard some people eat cockcroaches?? And Philipines has a dish made from duck embryos??
Totally "gruesome"!!!
