Sunday Salmon Delight
This original salmon recipe comes from Mr Sean Wong. This is how he got rid of some Norwegian salmon a friend gave him during a recent trip overseas. We got the benefit of the tasting session!



Ingredients:

  • 400 gms of sliced Norwegian salmon (decent thickness)
  • 1 can of Campbell cream of asparagus soup
  • 1 cup of water
  • 200 gms of asparagus
  • 2 bowls of frying oil
  • Generous helping of coarse black pepper and honey

Cooking time:10-15 mins

Preparation:

  1. Marinate the salmon with honey and black pepper approximately 2 hours before frying
  2. Heat the soup in a frying pan in low fire, add water to boil.
  3. Add cut asparagus to simmering asparagus soup until soft.
  4. Heat the frying oil in a deep pan and then add sliced salmon into pan for approximately 7 minutes in low /medium heat.
  5. Place cooked salmon slice on a plate and pour asparagus sauce with asparagus on top of salmon slice.
  6. It's ready to eat!
