Hong Kong recently held its annual Food Expo. A yearly affair, this expo was held at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Center between August 12 to 16.
Hundreds of food manufacturers and suppliers from the Chinese mainland, Hong Kong, Australia, Canada, Japan, Malaysia, Indonesia, the Philippines and Taiwan opened shop at the expo. Hundreds of delicacies, health and organic food products, sauces and seasonings, beverages, biscuits, snacks and confectionery, canned, frozen and convenience food were showcased.

Some of the other programs on offering were cooking demonstration by celebrities, famous chefs and health talks which added more fun and excitement to the expo.
We were there for a visit and were overwhelmed by the varieties of food products available. Bargains were available to visitors for the taking. Maybe it is time for Malaysia to hold its international food expo sometime soon?
