A foodvenue.com is a one-stop web site for everything and anything related to food in the Klang Valley. It is the premier web site that provides meals ordering and delivering service. We are constantly improving and intends to deliver popular brands of grocery, and other products in the future. foodvenue.com also provides a search directory to provide up-to-date and comprehensive dining guide - this is a useful tool for ideas of where to dine!

Q Why use foodvenue.com?
A It's easy and it's convenient. We cater for working people who is just too busy, too tired, too hungry and too lazy for the day (!) to go out for lunch. Just log on and order the food that’s available in your area and it will be delivered. Skip the trip and the sweat with foodvenue.com! It saves you time, petrol and parking charges!

Q What products does foodvenue.com sell?
A foodvenue.com currently offers food primarily prepared by Telekopitiam. We have found Telekopitiam’s menu to be localised to local taste buds. They share the same vision as foodvenue.com and in fact has invested in food delivery technology. They have convinced us they are able to provide consistent good tasting quality product in a timely manner.

foodvenue.com is constantly in the look out for more partners to add more product choices and to cover a wider service area to serve our customers. In fact, foodvenue.com is looking also to include groceries as a natural part of its ordering and delivery service. Look out for it!

Q What are the hours of operation?
A foodvenue.com currently delivers from 11 am until 4 pm. Mondays to Fridays excluding public holidays. Delivery times varies according to the food provider’s requirement.

Q How do I place an order?
A foodvenue.com offers three convenient ways to place an order:

Log onto http://www.foodvenue.com (Recommended)
Call us at 1-300-88-FOOD (i.e. 1-300-88-3663)
Or, fax us at 03-248-4248 by using our special order sheet for bulk orders.


Q How much does delivery cost on top of the product cost?
A Currently there is no delivery charges subject to a minimum order. This may change. We will keep you updated from time to time.

However, service tax may be applicable in respect of certain food providers. You will be informed before you confirm your order.

Q Where does foodvenue.com deliver?
A The service area is currently limited to certain buildings in the Golden Triangle area. If the building security permits, we will deliver your order right to your office. We aim to expand our service area to better serve you.

Q How do I find out whether foodvenue.com delivers to my workplace?
A When you log on to http://www.foodvenue.com and wants to order delivery meals, you will be asked to key in your delivery postcode and address keyword. You will be asked also whether you want takeaway or delivery. Once you clicked on GO! our system will search for the food provider who is servicing your location.

Q Why doesn’t foodvenue.com serve the building which I work?
A Investing in vehicles can be very expensive and certain routes may not have enough demand to justify us buying additional delivery vehicles at this point. However, if you think that we should service your area, drop us an email telling us where you are located, the types of food you like and your budget - this will help us project demands and work towards serving the area which you work. We will also notify you when service becomes available.

Q How do I register and what’s the advantage?
A After you logged onto http://www.foodvenue.com and enter your post code and address keyword. If there are deliveries within your area, click on the link on the home page and fill out the information required to make a delivery to you. You will be automatically registered after you provide us with all the required information.

Log onto http://www.foodvenue.com/ and click on the Register link on the MyFoodVenue area. You will be asked to fill in a form and accept the terms and conditions. Your registration should be immediate if the information you provide us is sufficient.

We need the information to set up an account so we can start delivering the products ordered to you. By registering you have also become a foodvenue.com member which means that you will be kept updated on the latest stuff happening with foodvenue.com such as new food providers, new restaurant listings, discounst and more!


Q How do I change my name, email address, address or password?
A If you are a registered and your personal information has changed since the last time you used our services, you can access and modify your information here.

Q How does the delivery system work?
A foodvenue.com delivers the products you order to the address you specify in your order. Where possible you may designate the delivery time of the products you order. In any case, the time for delivery will be indicated once you confirm your order. If there is a minimum order requirement for deliveries, you will also be informed.

Q How do I pay for my order?
A Currently due to the cost of transaction systems, we only accept cash on delivery of the products. Once Internet credit card payment gateway systems become cheaper and more reliable we will certainly allow for credit card payments online.

Q How do I know whether you service my area?
A Simply key in the postcode which you want your products to be delivered and your address keyword. We will then do a quick match with the available products that may be delivered to your designated area.

Q What’s an address keyword and why is it needed?
A An address keyword is a keyword which describes where you want the food delivered. We need the address keyword so as to quickly match where your specified delivery area is with our list of food providers.

The recommended starting point is of course your street name. The other keyword which you may use is your building name. For example, if you want products delivered to Wisma Genting in Jalan Sultan Ismail, you will key in “***” and Jalan Sultan Ismail or Wisma Genting in the keyword field.

Q What products do you deliver?
A foodvenue.com’s primary food supplier is currently Telekopitiam. Telekopitiam’s menu is localised to local taste buds. We intend to expand our list of food providers to make sure we are able to reach to as many customers as possible and to deliver to our customers what they need.

Q Where do I go to get help?
A If you have a question or require assistance to make an order for the first time, you may contact us. You can email at us at customercare@foodvenue.com or call our customer service line here.

Q Why are we limiting the delivery times for food delivery?
A foodvenue.com intends to roll out full delivery times for web based ordering on a stage by stage basis. This is to ensure that our system will be able to cope with the orders that come in through our web site. We will automatically notify you once we expand our delivery hours. If you are not already a member but wish to be notified of our expanded delivery times in future, you can either join as a member or subscribe to our newsletter

Q Why are the delivery areas so limited for Telekopitiam?
A The bulk of our orders come during lunch hours and traffic is usually the peak during this period as well. To ensure that your order arrives in the best possible condition, we have decided to minimise the delivery times. This of course limits our service areas to the Golden Triangle. However when Telekopitiam expands to another location, our service areas will expand accordingly.

Q Are there any other food suppliers that you are serving?
A We are actively discussing with food suppliers so that we can take orders or deliver food for them. We will have, in the course of the next few months, more food suppliers for you to order food from. Q I have complaints about the food. Who should I go to?
A foodvenue.com is an independent food portal who provides order taking and delivery services to food suppliers like Telekopitiam. foodvenue.com does not prepare the food that is delivered.

However, if you have any complaints or questions regarding the food, you may contact us and we will pass this message on to the respective food supplier.

Q I have ordered my food. How can I be sure that the order is accepted?
A Once you receive an on-screen confirmation that the order is accepted upon check out, your order will be recorded in our order taking system. If for some reason we need to confirm your order again, we will contact you by phone. It is therefore important for you to provide us with a phone number that we can contact you well before the requested delivery time.

Q I have not received my order on time. What should I do?
A Please give us plus or minus 15 minutes from your designated time of delivery as KL traffic can be very unpredictable. You can also call +60(3) 2148-3248 to check on the status of the order. Again please ensure that you have your full order details from the order confirmation screen when you make the call to us.
