It is only in a unique country like Malaysia that we have a couple of New Year celebrations in a year! On February 12, the Chinese will welcome the year of the Horse. What will this year bring?
Chinese New Year is a time for the Chinese to eat (yummy!) and to meet up with family members. Do you know that the Chinese dishes served during this time are full of meaning and symbolism? This month, the editorial team came up with a couple of articles on Chinese New Year food for you to learn a little bit more about this interesting culture. Please don't miss it. We have also compiled a list of restaurants having CNY Specials such as the Loh Yu Sang tradition. This time of the year is ideal to organise a lunch-out with your collegues at work.
February is also a time for lovers and lovers to be. St. Valentine's day is celebrated all over the world as a time when lovers express their love for each other. Interestingly enough, the Chinese will also celebrate their version of St. Valentine's day near the end of their New Year celebrations in March.
